Breathwork with Kia Agerhem
There are many different styles and techniques of Breathwork. The one practiced in these sessions is an active meditation technique that allows the conscious mind to soften and lets the divine wisdom of the body take you on a powerful healing journey. It’s done in a safe, supportive environment using a two part breathing technique. There are no breath holds, but a conscious connected breath.
The practice can facilitate healing and growth mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally, and is accessible to everyone. It allows you to clear stuck energy, stress, anger from body and mind and shift your emotional state. It will ground and regulate your nervous system, act as a catalyst for an emotional release, and create new pathways or new space within, opening up for self love, self healing, self acceptance and most of all - the authentic self. You will leave feeling relaxed, lighter, less burdened and more connected to your true luminous self.
This style of breathwork is a very different technique from the pranayama one might experience at a yoga class. While these practices are also beneficial, this potent method allows one to do deep healing work. The best way to discover its power is to come and experience it for yourself. It can be somewhat of a ride.

Good to know prior these Breathwork Sessions
We will be breathing in the sympathetic as well as in the parasympathetic nervous system.
During the active part of this breathwork session we will be breathing through the mouth, modifications will be given if pregnant or have other medical conditions. However - please reach out in forehand to Kia (or doctor/medical care) if you are pregnant, suffer from high anxiety/PTSD, epileptic or have a medical heart condition.
Please do not use any mind-altering substances during these sessions. Let the body and breath do the work.
